Notes from Archie Javes re entry in Family bible show a second entry in the bible with the DOB 9 Sep 1843 - which appears to be the correct one.

Phoebe married John JAVES, son of John JAVES and Mary THATCHER, on 4 Jun 1865. (John JAVES was born on 11 Aug 1834 and died on 25 Jan 1897.)
